November is that time of year! Pig Roast! The scouts spent the weekend at Camp Bucoco preparing a feast of a full roasted pig, turkey, chicken, mash potatoes, stuffing, and more! On Saturday night, we invited family members and friends to this wonderful feast! In addition to the great food, scouts were presented their achievement awards, perform skits, retired American flags, and gave away baskets full of goodies in a raffle.
Of course, as with any camp, the scouts had fun goofing off and playing capture the flag. The camp was not uneventful. One scout got stuck in a tree after getting his foot caught in a squirrel hole (he was fine!) and another went “missing” only to be found sleeping underneath a table in the dining hall. Good times!
