This past weekend the troop participated in the district wide Klondike Derby. The Klondike consist of survival and gold rush themed competitions that require each patrol to work together. Some of the activities included sled racing, polar bear spearing and a grilled cheese cooking competition over a fire for lunch.

The overall goal was to collect as many “golden nuggets” as possible to try and win prizes. In the end one of out patrols did very well coming in third place.
All in all it was a great weekend full of lessons, soup spilling and snowball fights.
