We spent this past weekend camping at one of our favorite spots, the Family Resource Retreat. Many times we have camped at at a site on the property, tucked away in the hills.
The camp features 2 large adirondacks and 1 dinning shelter. A few scouts camped in the adirondacks, but most camped in tents.
Highlights of the camp were playing basketball, patrol cooking, Mr. Meinert’s homemade flag pole, peach pie and lasagna, and getting rained on Saturday night.
This camp was bittersweet as this will be the last time we will get to camp at this particular site as the Family Resource Center is selling part of their property to a developer. We hope we can find a new site on the property and continue to camp here!
