Twice a year, the scouts walk a stretch of Peters Road in Cranberry Twp and pick up litter.  It usually takes them a little less than 2 hours to walk the entire route.  This time counts as service project time, which is required for scouts to do in order to earn rank.  More importantly, service projects like this teaches scouts to be good stewards of their community.
