A few of the scouts starting their cycling merit badges today by making a 10 mile bike ride on the trail at Moraine State Park.  The Biking merit badge can be used as a required merit badge for Eagle Scout.  In order to earn the merit badge, scouts need to understand and explain bike safety, clean and adjust a bike, and complete 10, 15, 25, and 50 mile bike rides.
