Camp Pymatuning

In-person camps have been far and few between this year, but fortunately this fall we got a few camps in.  Every year, Troop 404 and 405 reserves a site at Camp Pymatuning, just along  Pymatuning Reservoir which straddles Pennsylvania and Ohio, just south of Lake Erie.

The troop got the entire huge camp area to ourselves and we needed it as we had a large group attend this camp (it is one of our favorites).  The highlights of the camp were the hatchet throwing competition, the patrol cooking the best dinner competition, and the visit to the reservoir dam where the scouts got to feed bread to the abundance of catfish that gather around the dam’s visitor overlooks.
