Camp Baker is always scheduled right after the cub scouts crossover to the troop, so it is usually a scout’s first experience camping as a Boy Scout, rather than a Cub Scout.  One of the big differences is that scouts are expected to be more independent — participating in events with less-to-no parent help and interaction.
