Orienteering Course at North Park

Even with all the rain (and we had A LOT), we had a great turnout for the orienteering course put on by the Western Pennsylvania Orienteering Club WPOC) at North Park.  The scouts did the course as a requirement for their first class rank, which is as follows:

Using a map and compass, complete an orienteering course that covers at least one mile and requires measuring the height and/or width of designated items (tree, tower, canyon, ditch, etc.).

Troop 404 would like to thank WPOC for holding the course.   WPOC holds these courses at different locations around Western PA on a regular basis.  You can find out more information about WPOC at their web site:  www.wpoc.org.
